Acclaimed NH Country Inn to Give Away 10 5-Night Vacations worth over $10,000!
Sunset Hill House, the acclaimed country inn in NH’s White Mountains, is giving away 10 five-night vacations in 2012. The catch? Winners must agree to investigate all aspects of the inn during their stay, and post what they find on the inn’s facebook page every day.
Most of all, we want our embedded facebookers to have fun and get to know us and the area, says the “World’s Happiest Innkeeper” Nancy Henderson. Of course they’ll have a chance to explore all the things a guest would normally do –golf, swimming, cross country skiing, snowshoeing – or just hanging in the hammock. But they’ll also be encouraged to interact with our staff behind the scenes as well – playing with the chefs in the kitchen, investigating all the ‘hidey holes’, checking up on housekeeping, participating in staff meetings. Will the winners be expected to work? Absolutely not! First and foremost our embedded facebookers are here on vacation and to have fun. But if they want to learn how to cook our Maple Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast, we’ll surely teach them! Our objective is to provide the winners full run of the inn and restaurant, and give them and our facebook friends and fans a real taste of innkeeping and inngoing.
Sunset Hill House is a family run historic country inn, right in the middle of all the things tourists come to visit. Winners are encouraged to take advantage of the region and explore all the White Mountain Attractions. The innkeeper’s favorite spots include the Basin at Franconia Notch, Chutters Store with the World’s Longest Candy Counter, the Cog Railway to the top of Mt Washington, and the collection of covered bridges in Bath. There is so much to do, they will need the full 5 days – maybe more – to experience it all, says Nancy, who promises to take each on a hike up the mountains as well and a few surprises.

Applications will be judged by the staff of the inn, and winners will be announced March 1st on facebook.
