From I-93, (Boston, Southern NH, Northern NH, Maine) take exit 38 in NH to Franconia/Sugar Hill. At the blinking light (there is only one within many miles!) turn right onto route 116, direction Sugar Hill. ¼ mile later, turn left onto Route 117, crossing the Gale River, also direction Sugar Hill. Go two miles uphill to the very top of the hill. When there is no more up left to go, and you see a big barn that says Sugar Hill Sampler on your left, and our sign on the right, turn left onto Sunset Hill Road. Say “Oh My Gosh! Look at those Views!”, and drive 1/3 mile further until you reach us - the big white inn on the left, opposite the golf course.

From I-91 (NY, Hartford, Vermont, Canada) take exit 17 in Wells River Vermont to Rte. 302 east, proceed approx. 18 miles through Woodsville, Bath (stop at the Brick Store for goodies) and Lisbon, to Rte.117 which will intersect from the right. Drive about 6 miles to the top of Sugar Hill, turn right on Sunset Hill Rd. Say “Oh My Gosh! Look at those Views!”, and drive 1/3 mile further until you reach us - the big white inn on the left, opposite the golf course.

(If you drive too far on 302 you will reach Littleton – get on I-93 southbound and follow the directions above!)

Sunset Hill House and Lon and Nancy Henderson donate over $10,000 each year in goods and services to worthy local and national charities. The awards committee meets monthly to consider applications from Charitable and Non-profit agencies, with priority to groups that have direct, local benefit.
