Dining Options & Menus
At Sunset Hill House, inn guests may expect:
- A full breakfast served daily. A full American breakfast with freshly baked pastries, fresh seasonal fruits, and your choice of eggs, omelets, pancakes, French toast and other specialties is included free of charge.
- Dinner to be served Tuesday through Sunday, from 5:30 on.
- A choice of dining styles at our two restaurants: the region's best fine dining with a view and award winning wine list at the Restaurant at Sunset Hill, or casual dining in our New Hampshire Tavern or on our deck.
- Local products. From our own kitchen garden, to partnerships with local farms to New Hampshire Coffee Roasters coffee, we support dining local and New Hampshire Made.

The Restaurant at Sunset Hill
With jaw-dropping mountain views, our acclaimed Restaurant at Sunset Hill serves the region’s best gourmet fine dining. In four intimate dining rooms, all awash with sparkling crystal and pristine linens, and al fresco dining on our deck, dinner at Sunset Hill is a not-to-be-missed experience. Our menu centers around the best local ingredients and flavors.The Restaurant at Sunset Hill is a member of prestigious Chaîne des Rôtisseurs restaurant guild, holds a AAA rating, and was named “NH’s very best spectacular meal” and NH’s best dinner by Alpenglow” by NH Magazine.
While our dining menu changes weekly to take advantage of the season, sample Restaurant at Sunset Hill menus are available.
This gourmet restaurant offers a prix fixe gourmet extravaganza, and all items are available à la carte. The Restaurant at Sunset Hill also offers special occasion holiday dining – book early for Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas Eve or New Year’s feasts.

The New Hampshire Tavern
A local’s venue for comfort food and value, The New Hampshire Tavern features small plates and lighter fare. The tavern is perfect for a light snack with a glass of wine, or a hearty dinner in a more relaxed atmosphere. We are proud to feature delicious local beers brewed by our good friend Scott Rice at the Woodstock Station, and a variety of wines by the glass, in addition to our full, award-winning wine list. Dining Plan
The Modified American Plan adds delicious dinner entrees to your stay. You may choose any entree in either the New Hampshire Tavern or the Restaurant at Sunset Hill, for only $25pp. You may add this to your on line or by phone booking any time before your arrival. The package is not refundable, and represents up to a 50% savings.
We also are glad to offer our extravagant 6 course innkeeper's table at the Restaurant at Sunset Hill. $58pp.
Sunset Hill's Award Winning Wine List
Innkeeper Nancy personally chooses every wine on the list (and tastes each one.) Our extensive wine list offers over 170 labels from all over the world, and has won the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year since 2004. Sunset Hill House cellars also offer an extensive selection of wines by the glass, chosen to complement the week’s delicious dinner specials, along with many half bottles.
Private Dining & Parties
With two private dining rooms seating 2-40 and our Alpine Glow banquet room and deck for parties up to 200, we frequently host parties of all sizes.
