Chocolate BonBon Recipe
For your dining enjoyment, and a little taste of Sunset Hill House, we present our Chocolate Bonbons.

Filling:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 tablespoons evaporated milk
Line baking pan with waxed paper, set aside. In small bowl combine sugar, coconut, evaporated milk, melted butter & vanilla. To make bonbons, shape ½ teaspoons of filling mixture in balls. Place on lined baking sheet and place in refrigerator until firm.
Coating:
- 1 cup (8 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ¼ cup heavy cream
Melt butter in saucepan. Add heavy cream. Add chocolate chips and stir with continuously with rubber spatula over low heat until smooth.
Dip bonbon filling in chocolate mixture and place back on lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until firm. Store in refrigerator.
