Alpine / Downhill Skiing: You're surrounded by opportunity at Sunset Hill. Cannon Mountain is only 5 miles away -- you'll see the tram run up and down the mountain, and can watch the skiers on Taft trail with the binoculars we provide. Enjoy the fascinating New England Ski Museum while you're there. Loon Mountain ski resort is a quick 20 minutes south. Famed Bretton Woods ski resort is 25 minutes north. We offer discount lift tickets to the mountains for our guests, so you can save money and go directly to the lifts. Our alpine ski packages are great inclusive deals.

Snowmobiling: For those who own their own sleds, we're less than 2 miles from the H corridor, and have plenty of parking for sleds and trailers on site. For those who don't yet, we have an agreement with some of the areas top outfitters who will offer our guests a very special snowmobile rental rate for 1, 2, or 3 hour tours, either accompanied or on your own. It is a lovely way to view the notch.

Sleigh Rides: We just love sleigh rides along the ridge in the winter. They are usually available on weekends and holidays, and private rides can be contracted as well. Book early for the popular weekends!

When the day of skiing is done, sip hot cocoa in front of the fire, soak in your jacuzzi, and enjoy a leisurely gourmet dinner overlooking the mountains in our award-winning Restaurant at Sunset Hill.
