From astronomy to unlimited golf, this summer vacation package includes all the activities you might want in a perfect summer vacation.  For every night that you stay, choose an activity.  We'll provide the instruction, the equipment, the directions, the admission tickets. All you have to do is relax and enjoy a perfect, stress-free vacation.  Plus, every "Best of New Hampshire" stay gets two free touring adventures.

We've made it easy for you to stay longer and have more fun, too.  The longer you stay, the less you pay.  Innkeepers Lon and Nancy recommend 4 nights to 'get started' - 3 in a pinch.  It all depends on how much fun you want to have!  Longer is better!   Costs below based on a standard or superior traditional room, non-foliage/holiday.

Unlimited Golf: Our golf vacation package lets you play all the golf you can stand, from sun-up to sundown. Includes all greens fees, pull carts and club rentals at Sunset Hill Golf Course.

Bike the Franconia Notch Recreation Trail: Explore the trail on our brand new Trek bikes, visiting must-see attractions as you go. 

Dive into our favorite swimmin’ hole: Let the waterfall massage your back, stroll the covered bridges, or try our favorite lake with island you can walk to.  We provide chairs and a cooler full of ice and sodas.

Strike it Rich: Pan for gold in the NH streams with our professional gold panning kit! (Instructions provided.)  You keep your treasure, as well as a great book on gold in NH.

Go Fishing: We'll give you a brand new pole, reel and tackle kit that you can take home with you as a momento of your st we give you to take home.  We’ll even tell you our favorite spots.  (License not included. one kit included per package, additional available for purchase.)  Limited one per stay.

Fly a Kite: in our gentle, persistent breeze.  We give you a ripstop nylon kite with small carrying case – perfect to live in your car for those inspired moments. Limited one per stay.

Explore Franconia Notch: Explore New Hampshire's beautiful Franconia Notch, with tickets to the Flume Gorge or Aerial tram included, plus side excursions to the Basin and Ski Museum. Limited one per stay.

Educational Adventures

Astronomy:  Join our crew for a guided tour of the night skies using one of the largest privately owned telescopes on the east coast.  Scheduled weekly, at least one week in advance.  

Wine Down: An afternoon tasting of some of our favorite wines and local cheeses.

Cook a Gourmet Breakfast: Cook with innkeeper Nancy, and come away with some of our secrets!

Join the Famous White Mountain School of Art: Tour masterpieces from this famous school, and try your hand at creating your own spectacular scene with the drawing kit we give you.  Limited one per stay.

Relaxing Adventures

Movie Night: Take in a movie at one of NH’s oldest (and now most technologically advanced) cinemas.  Your adventure is complete with tickets, popcorn, sodas and candy! Limited one per stay.

Enjoy a Romantic Night-In: with a romance basket of champagne and goodies delivered to your room, and our exquisite floral turn down service. Limited one per stay.

Get a massage:  Enjoy a full hour of pampering for one in our dedicated mini spa. Limited one per stay.  Additional massages may be purchased.

Touring Adventures

Sample Americas Main Streets: A driving and strolling tour featuring the worlds’ longest candy counter, art, antiques, homemade fudge and ice cream, and a working grist mill.

Drive the National Scenic Byways Loop: for which we are so famous, with the best views in New England, outlet shopping and great hikes.  Optional side trip on the alpine slide.
